Fall Recipe #2 (For when it gets a little colder)

Another one of my favorite things to do in the winter months is make hot chocolate. Nothing's better than cozying up in front of a fireplace with a blanket, a loved one, and a warm cup of hot chocolate...yummmm.  I found this recipe on the same website (A Beautiful Mess) as the one listed in my last post.  I haven't tried this recipe yet but I think I'm going to this weekend...It's definitely cold enough!

 Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:
~16 ounces milk or cream (or 8 ounces milk and 8 ounces of cream)
~4 ounces dark chocolate
~4 ounces chocolate caramel (Hershey's has some)
~a pinch or two of sea salt
Directions (straight from the website):
"In a sauce pan or small pot heat half (8 ounces) of the milk and 4 ounces chopped dark chocolate and salt until melted. Continue heating and whisk in the remaining milk and 4 ounces chopped chocolate caramel. Continue whisking until the entire mixture is warmed through and smooth in texture.
Serve with a little whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel and a sprinkle of sea salt."

My mouth is watering just looking at these pictures! I'll let you know how my first attempt turns out :)
