This weekend it snowed in parts of Maryland which is pretty unexpected for October!! Neil and I decided to stay inside on Saturday because it was raining like crazy as well as ridiculously cold. Instead of braving the storm to go out to the bars in our Halloween costumes with our friends, we stayed inside and watched movies in our pj's. On Sunday however, it was absolutely beautiful outside so we bundled up and drove an hour out to Larriland Farms. They are a big farm that have lots of pick-your-own produce fields, which were covered in an inch of snow today!! We chose to pick apples and pumpkins.

| "the best apple cider" he's ever had apparently..and he's had a lot in his life! |
 |
| 6 pounds of apples...and i plan to eat them all :) |
I've already started looking up easy recipes for my apples. It will be a little hard to do anything ambitious with them because I don't have a stove in my dorm room but I'm sure I can come up with something yummy using the tools I
do have. I also have my perfect pumpkin which I don't plan on carving. I think I'll just let it sit on my desk so that I can admire it all the way through November! It's Halloween tomorrow!! I can't wait to dress up and have an excuse to eat an excess of candy :)
