Croquet 2012

This weekend was the annual Croquet match between the U.S. Naval Academy and St. John's college.  Every year we all get dressed up in obnoxiously pretentious outfits and strut around down town Annapolis getting buzzed before lunch time.  This year was no different except that the weather was uncharacteristically cold and raining. No matter, that didn't stop us from donning out favorite hats, bow-ties, and sundresses...we just added cardigans and umbrellas to our ensembles and we were good to go!  I had so much fun this year even though I didn't even see the croquet match being played. And Neil was such a good sport...I bought him a bright pink bow-tie to wear and he stayed up all night trying to learn how to tie it! I think it turned out looking pretty good and now he has the important, yet undervalued, skill of bow-tying under his belt.
