So every summer my school hosts a sort of summer camp and this year I have the privilege of being second in command!! It's been a lot of work preparing the last couple of weeks but today we got our first batch of kids so now the fun begins!! I just met a big group of them and they are from all over; One kid was from Puerto Rico and another from Hawaii!! We also had a girl who didn't speak any English (none at all!) and we couldn't figure out what it is that she does speak...this is an interesting situation.
It's the first day so all we're really doing is checking them in, getting them fed, and then running them off to play sports. I've been pretty busy though. I've been running back and forth to make sure that everything is going smoothly and that everyone knows where they're supposed to be. So far so good but it's only the first day!!! 30 more to go....wish me luck!
